Well.. I know all my kits are important to me, and I always bring them downstairs when SEVERE WEATHER IS IN THE AREA, but my parents say they can be replaced, but they have a sentamental value to me. Do you guys do the same or should I just let them go

Luckily we don't have that kind of weather here in Sweden so I don't need to do that. The only bad weather we have is rain, snow and cold and sometimes a couple of storms in the fall but not nearly as bad as it can be in USA. The only tornados I have seen is on Discovery Channel and Oldsmobiles. ;D

I would protect my kits as if they were Gold.
I Lost my original collection due to stupidity and what not so this time around I am VERY careful.

I would protect my kits as if they were Gold. I Lost my original collection due to stupidity and what not so this time around I am VERY careful. Same here i treat my 1-24 , 1-87 and my 1-1 cars like they are gold. Shure they can be replaced but u cannot replace the blood,sweat and time in them.

I live in a trailor so I can`t put my models , slot cars , ho trains , hotwheels , engin parts for my 250 I6 rebuild , repair manuals , and books in the basement when there might be a twister. If I did have a basement the first thing that would go down there is my two dogs and my birds then all the models that I have put countless hours into then anything else I could grab ;D.

Yep, thats what i do anything that i love (dogs cats frogs fish) then my stuff cause my models can always be replaced from ebay!
