That is an amazing job. Once again the paint is freakishly PERFECT!!!!
Chris (CBone) and myself just won a reissue on Ebay.
Were going to do a kitbash with the AMT "Creepy T" twin superchargers and fuel injection hat, paint the car pearl black and call it "Double Trouble"
Now that I can print to decal sheets I am going to design the logo around the original so it will look factory Monogram all the way.
Were also getting another "Copout" Kit and rob those amazing wrinkle wall M&H slicks along with the Halibrand wheels.
Looks good Ron. Once again a job well done.

Thanks for the compliments boss! Your kit-bash idea sounds very cool. That is something I would LOVE to see as I love both of those kits. The Creepy T was one I built ages ago as well. Bring it on, ONEBADMK8!

As usual Ron, your paint is impeccable. I could kick myself for passing those Trouble Makers by when they were available. Never realized how cool they could be until seeing one built. I can actually remember the very first kit that I ever built. It was back in 1960! It was a Ford Falcon and I do recall not having enough of that "psychedelic" glue to finish the job. Used almost a whole tube just to put the seats in. I think everyone in the family got a little wacky from the fumes!

I used to get LePages Glue in a tube at the corner store. That stuff would flip you upside down and back again! LOL! At about the time I started building they were slowly transitioning to the non-toxic glue. Boy did I hate the smell of that non-toxic stuff... it had a sickly sweet smell to it and just didn't seem to work as well as good ol' LePages. Fortunatelly, nowadays, we have many options available to us, glue-wise. But I'll never forget those little yellow/gold tubes of LePages.

I have never haerd of that glue before?
I have always used the orange and white Testors.
I do remember the very citrus smelling Testors non toxic CRAP glue that came in the blue and white tube.
That stuff sucked.

I would think that you would have to be over 40 to remember that glue. I think I still get flashbacks every once in a while. I recall the glue that I used had a sort of "banana" smell to it. Sound familiar to anyone?

That stuff sucked. LePages was allI could get where I was (Bay City MI) and was considered the best in my little circle. That blue & white non-toxic tube is what I was talking about, yea. The corner store switched to that after some neighborhood parents complained and it really sucked. Since I grew up hangin in my Dad's autobody shop, it wasn't a big deal to my parents. My Dad would take me downtown to get LePages as he said the stuff I was exposed to at his shop was much worse. Dunno if that's bad or good.. I think I'm ok...

That is really funny that the troublemaker was your first kit. So it was also mine, Please believe that, I remember buying it at Woolworths for $2.75 and with tax it was $2.83. I was so upset, I ran home and asked MOM for the change. I ran back to Woolworths, got the kit, sat on my open porch with a dinner tray and built it right out of the box. I ripped 1 of the decals (driver side troublemaker) and was mad that I threw over the porch and into the street. Talk about shattered. Now at 42 I also got the first ever troublemaker off of E-bay and built it pretty decent but jeez, yours would eat mine alive for Breakfast,Lunch, dinner and desert Beautiful Job Thanks JC! It really is a simple, well made kit and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Everything fit perfect and it built up nice. I may just have to get another one ..
