Hey, long time no post I was wondering what's a good airbrush to get for model airplanes/cars in general, and a good solid compressor that's good quality I was thinking about a Badger 150, I'd prefer a dual action too. I also have a question on how to do panel lines, and weathering effects on airplanes?

I have a Badger 150 and it works great for general hobbies. Never had a real problem with mine once I got used to using it. As a side note... The Badger 150 is dual action, internal mix, siphon feed.

I have a Badger Anthem airbrush. It is a double action siphon fed airbrush. It works well and is basically a good airbrush. Not keen though on the separate cup that slide fits into it from underneath, but that is a personal thing. I guess it is because I have knocked the loose cup over on the bench more than once! Next airbrush will be a gravity fed double action with the cup built onto the top of the main shell. Placed in an airbrush holder on the bench it will sort out my spillage problems.
What make will I go for is anybody's guess. So many good ones to choose from. Avoid at all costs those cheap imports that appear to have all bells and whistle included. With airbrushes you only get what you are prepared to pay for. Take a cold hard look at what work you want to do with it and buy the best that you can afford that will do the job. Badger and Paasche have been around a long time in this business, but there are other very good airbrush manufacturers out there.
