Here's the shots after doing 2 hours of body work!! Man these AMT kits have horrible seams. Well I should say the 57' Thunderbird does anyway. This is just a mock up to do some test fitting and what not. I did some major prep work and removed the emblems on the fenders. I am bashing from the Revell Roland Leong Funny Car, the MPC Cobra and the AMT 57' Bird. What do you think of a blown 427 side oiler 57 Bird gasser?!?!?! LOVE the big scale stuff!!!! Doubt Ill be back to the 1/24-1/25 stuff the big stuff is much too fun!!

Heres where Im at now. Undecided on wheels. These two are awesome, the fronts are the 1/18th scale Halibrands and the 427 Cobra 1/16th Blue Streaks on the Thunderbid kit wheels. These two are of the factory front wheels that came with the car and the revell 1/16th scale slicks with the 5 hole mags that came with the kit too. These two are my favorite but does the 1/18th look that out of scale with the 1/16th?
