A few weeks ago I purchased a 1/16 AMT '55 Chevy Nomad. I built this as a kid and couldn't wait to get my hands on another one. It was a factory sealed original as well. Noticed I said "was". It is now an OPENED original issue. I also noticed that the title of this forum is from 1/12 on up. what about the 1/16's? Are they excluded? I realize you are probably trying to exclude the 1/18 die-casts. I'd hate to not have anywhere to post my Nomad, once I finish it!

Ron the title says it all.
1/12 and up, that would include anything above 1/12 which would include 1/16.
I too had that Nomad and the Bel Air as well. The Bel Air I turned into a Gasser with Tony Nancy slicks and engine!!
I have one Polaroid of this car. I cannot wait to scan my vintage Model pics.

So if you said 1/12 and up, that means next would be 1/8 and 1/4. Otherwise, the way you have just explained it, that includes 1/24 and 1/25, 1/32 etc. Large scale would start with 1/18 and up. Up meaning going larger, as in this order: 1/18, 1/16, 1/12, 1/8, 1/4. The numbers would go down. All semantics aside, I understand what you mean and I will be able to inlcude my 1/16's.

Hey cool! You changed the title! You must have understood what I posted. Now can you explain it to me?
