Not a slam but a pet peeve of mine. Why can't they get someone to build the box art cars, that are used by the consumer as reference, that actually know what the real cars look like. Your car is gonna be killer, I really like the little "trinkets and trash" detailing items in the interior but the windshield trim does not look like current cars with only a small strip of chrome as shown on the latest box art cars. The whole windshield post should be chrome and most of the area on the lower piece almost down to the windhshield wipers. It is the same piece used on the '66-'67 Comets and the '68-'69 Torino and Cyclone cars. I owned both a '66 Cyclone and a '67 Fairlane so maybe that's why it bothers me but the lack of research for something so visible that will be the pattern for so many buildups is just plain wrong. And don't get me started on the incorrect windshield opening. LOL

lol ya i notice alot of the models are never correct. it doesnt bother that much. one day i will be at the point where i try and fix everything.
i got a question for you, some people on another forum told me i had the steering wheel upside down? im not sure though because its says this way in the instrcutions and also i found pics on the internet and the wheel is the same way?

If the wheels are pointed straight ahead then it's upside down.

After "preserving" a '66 Cyclone for over twenty years in the back yard I have to say that your very understated "aging" of this Ford is nothing short of amazing! I've seen a lot of weathering that looked overdone and more that looked fake but my Cyclone is the first thing I think of when I see the fantastic job you've done. That car, along with the scrap from a dismantled "still" with both of them having "for sale" signs on them would make a great diarama subject.
