Fall Rerun Race Card #4 Looking as much like an Easter Egg as a stock car racer Ramo Stott's Superbird was one of the most colorful of Plymouth's feathered flyers. The fullsize car has been restored and is being shown currently at races and car shows.

One of the full size car magazines had an article on it a few months ago. I think it was either Stock Car Racing or Circle Track.

I know its stupid but since I am not real big into NASCAR, I do not know what "Darkside" means?
I mean I know it's for the early cars but why "Darkside"?

A friend of mine who posts on another board came up with it. He is a big fan of the older cars, having lived in Charlotte during his youth and having a neighbor who worked for Holman Moody. He even got to play in some of the cars back then. He is also a Star Trek fan and made, what seems like to him, the natural connection of the "pull" of the older cars and the wilder and more natural drivers of the sport's beginnings. The drivers, cars and even the shops were more "fan friendly" and accessible then and that's the way our circle tries to be today. You'll never hear us say, "oh, that's a trade secret" or the like when asked about a technique or model. The more open and relaxed attitude of the old days and the racers seems to fit us better so we just live very comfortably in the past as far as racing and very much in the present as far as our building goes. Like the movie, our cars have the powerful pull of the darkside. Just none of the bad parts, LOL.
