Couldn`t sleep last night so I was lookin at my models thinkin (yup I think every once in a while ) , I forgot what I was thinkin about but any way I did some work to my old mustang . It was just asking me to take it apart and put some better parts on her , at first I put new wheels and tires on it , then it needed to be lowerd, I had to cut the fender wells out to get the front where I wanted it so I had to make up a "mustang II front suspention(sp sorry)" . Well the engin was lookin a little sad now so I repainted it and put on a better intake carb and oil pan (the old oil pan had the hole in ti for the axle to go through). I started on this at ~ 12:30 am and was done at ~ 6:00 am . Now I`m wishing that I had used the night for sleepin , I`m just a tad bit tired now .

I like everyting but the wheels. For an old Musclecar I have to have the "Typical" Musclecar era wheels.
Other then that is cool looking.

Yea some centerlines or 5 spokes would prolly look more "fitting" but I REALY wanted to use these wheels, but I`ll prolly change them when I repaint it later .

Rattle can is my favorite. Checkout our Project "Altered State" to see one of my better rattle can jobs.

Yes I`ve seen it you did a great job on it second to none !!! Once I get a job (I`m not a dead beat or anything I`m just 17 and haven`t got a job yet) I`ll be able to to spend more money on my models and make more detailed models .

Bad news its in the junk yard . I used some paint stripper to get all the paint off and it did take the paint off very well but it also realy screwed up the body, live and learn I gess . I saved the frame and engin so I can buy another one of them kits and just paint the body and the inside and be done still suckes though .

Use Castrol Super Clean degreaser full strength, it usually works and will not damage the plastic. Soak the body in it for a couple of hours but it can take up to a couple of days sometimes, ohh...use rubber gloves or you will change the skin in your hands. You can also soak it in brake fluid or spray oven cleaner on it but you have to be careful with the oven cleaner since it stinks and the fumes are a bit hazardus, it's a bit aggressive both to the plastic and your skin so use rubber gloves here too.

Better late then never. Now you learned a lesson for the next time? It's not a total loss.
