We just painted this yesterday. We did it in a basecoat Testors metallic copper then Testors transparent red for two coats and a top coat of Boyds Florida Roadstar orange pearl with Testors enamel clear. Im not sure if we are keeping this color, what do you think? Pictures do it no justice, you just cannot imagine the amount of metallic in this finish. We also final fitted the engine and installed a "Moon" tank in the front from the Tony Nancy Dragster..

My opinion on the color is definitely keep it. In the top pic, in the reflection, the metallic and underlying shade can be seen, at least to my eye. That color is perfect for that car.
Looking awesome. Keep them updates coming!

Thank you. I have to think hard on that color.
Chris wanted this color, I wanted something more agressive?

The coulor is a orange pearl ,not frome some special car . cant tell you so mouch about it . The engine is frome the firebird pro stock (penzoil) and i think that was the mongram kit , i got a bow of left over parts so i took that engine. I told forcefan i did a overkill hot rod and later i found a licence plate whid that on (OVERKILL) so i took it right away and put it on the car. I think the plate was frome the willys pro street.
