This one is VERY high up on my "HOLY COW" list!! This is a shot of the recent re-issue of Dragonfire courtesy of Revell Germany, (Thank God). When I had this in 1977 I was beyond excited, a 14 inch trike at the age of 9!!! Can you imagine. Huge rubber tires, dragon shaped body with teeth showing, the green plastic was molded in a metal flake looking green, this kit is beyond cool!! JCPiscopo here on the board just bought this kit and it's on it's way. I cannot wait for him to get it just to see it again!!! Heres a shot of the amazing original box from 1976. Look at the box shot, simply KILLER. It's a sad, sad shame that you will never see cool boxshots or boxart like this anymore. Anyone else have this kit?

Man, I remember drooling over this kit in the Sear's toy catalog when I was a kid. There was another Trike model as well, but the name escapes me now. So Revell has re-issued this? I haven't heard about it. Where online can it be purchased?

Well we just finished up the paint. It isn't green either.
We shot it first with a heavy coat of Testors copper metallic, then 3 caots of Testors tranasparent red then Testors Enamel glosscoat (Fluid of the God's).
He took it home again to do all the details and body assembly. I should have pics in a few days.

Thanks......
The whole springer front end is scratchbuilt from styrene stock and aluminum tubing. It's held together with miniature screws from Walthers.com and works like a real springer should. The handlebar assembly is also scratchbuilt from aluminum tube.
