I found that Duplicolor high heat engine paint is the easiest spray can paint i have ever used and it polishes great.

Yes the high heat stuff is thicker because of just that.
I always noted how well it always laid on Automotive applications but I never even thought of using it on Models.

i havent used the high heat paint on a model , i use it on my headers tho lol.
I use there noraml auto paint. Lacquer base coat, clear stuff, i find it is the best, gives me awesome paint jobs for under 5 bucks.
