I saw this on the bay and had to have it. It was listed as a "weathered" rebuild. Basically it was just smeared randomly with paint, even on the chrome. Its a diescast so disassembly was a snap, well I had to take 3 scews out. I work in a body shop so I took it in with me one day and let the cab soak in a tub of laquer thinner for about an hour. All the paint came right off. I sprayed some primer on it and let it sit for a few days. scuffed up the primer, shot some sealer on it then sprayed it with PPG base/clear Viper Red. The interior was cleaned up and detailed some. I think it is a neat truck, ive looked to find another one but havent found one yet. heres a before shot and a shot of the cab after paint and the final product hauling the goods!

Now, that's too pretty! Dirty it up! Seriously though, what a great job, and a perfect, period-correct tractor for the old AMT Haulaway trailer, which is more correctly an early 50's to early 60's rig! Nice, soooooo very nice! Biscuitbuilder TEXTTEXTTEXT
