I Love it. Just add a drop shadow to the body here it would cast on the wheels, then merge the front and rear wheel into one layer then use "Brighten & Contrast" to blend it a little cleaner.
You will see it happen as you make the changes, the tires will just get more and more black.

Make sure the tire layer is on then goto "Image" then "Brightness & Contrast" then move the contrast up+ and you will see the black of the tires blend in better, now they are very light and you can tell they were changed.
