This is hands down one of my all time favorite kits. One of Tom Daniels finest works. This was the wildest thing I had ever seen at the time I first bought one (1976) This is the kit that got me into multi engine stuff, this kit was also a major source of inspiration for kitbashing as well. I just purchased one from Ebay last week. Sealed and mint perfect for $28.00 shipped, not too bad I guess. The memories from holding it again make it worth every penny. I bought the recent re-issue of this excellent kit just to build. I Love the original boxart for the 60's Version.  Heres the box art I had as a kid and currently have now as well thanks to Ebay.     |

I just picked up a reissue a few weeks ago. I never had one when they first came out. My dilema is: build it box stock or as a prison bus with inmates inside called "Jail Break!"
I have been reliving my youth through Ebay too! ;D

well id need some help with decals and such, hint hint. Im not sure how big they should be. Something like "State Pen" and "Fellons Ride For Free" and instead of kids in the windows have some gruff lookin jailbirds. I have big ideas but lil ability to make them happen.

I can make a "Jailbreak" logo in Photoshop no sweat but you need decal paper and a printer that will do the trick.

That is a kit i would love to build, but never did... perhaps i will pick on up on ebay one of these days!!!
I was at the NNL east over the weekend, and i saw a few of these bodies done in cast resin. Is it worth buying a resin one, or is the body that comes with the kit good enough?

I have never seen the resin to compare but the Mongram version IMHO looks great.
BTW I just got some decal sheets to print on that are ink jet friendly and I think Im going to make mine all evil and call it "Death Row Express" yes a prison bus style deal thanks to the idea from the Swede!!
Oh yeah Swede I have been working on a "Jail Break" logo for you in PS it looks awesome!!!!

The S'Cool Bus is available now, Revell reissued it last year with the original box art so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Our local hobbyshop has several of them in stock.

This kit has oh so many possibiltys like campbus, Church bus,Prison bus (already mentioned) and a police swat bus To go with the Cop out car.
