Merry Christmas and progress report.
Getting ready to start on a new photo session this weekend, weather permitting for the expanded version of my DVD project. Gonna almost double the number of cars from the original. Got to write a new script and add some more features like how me and Gator started out doing the race car replicas and a couple of other surprises.
I really considered doing a "Star Wars" and releasing the original that I shot in the early '90's to get some working capital and then do the "remastered special edition" with all the added stuff. It's not going to cost me very much more to go ahead and do the full tilt one except for the extra time to completion. I think you will be a lot better satisfied, and I know I will be, with the complete version from the git go.
There is no price increase planned and all the orders for the earlier picture CD will now be upgraded to DVD at no additional cost. I plan to either add the photos to the DVD or send a seperate photo CD with the DVD to those who have ordered one. I'm thinking of offering the photo CD (several hundred images) seperately to anyone who is interested that missed the first offer.
I just wanted to wish everyone here a very Merry Christmas before I went in for a very intense "woodshedding" production session. Thanks for all the interest and the pre-orders. I'll be sending out some pre-production preview discs as soon as I get that far along so I can get some "reviews" to let everyone see what you'll be getting as soon as I can. As soon as I get everything ready to ship I'll send a notice to everyone on the preorder list. Thanks again for all you support and I hope you all have the happiest of holidays.
