It still has a long ways to go the 323 took me a total of 4 months to finish this one will hopefully take less time b/c the body is going alot smoother than the 323 did i feel that the headlamps and taillamps will be the biggest challenge.

Please bare with me my writing skills have alot to be desired so here is a basic rundown on what i did. The motor block is completely scratchbuilt also is the transmission. The dash is kitbashed from a focus wrc and a crx dash . And the wheels are from a focus svt and the wing is from a honda kit . How i made the body is from other cars from the (Parts box) melted with a soldiering iron ground down with a dremel and smoothed with Bondo spot putty then filed and sanded smoothed trash painted to find high/low spots, then sanded again. then final painted again with testers met green . Then clearcoated with Model master gloss pearlcoat.

I`m not realy into the front wheel drive cars. Ever since I was 5 I was hooked on rear wheel drive cars/trucks with torquey I6s and powerfull V8s . But You are doing an awesome job on that car ! There is no way could do that and keep everything in scale like you did ! I know the fealing . Same here , I`m not as stupid as I sound I just have very poor spelling so I stick with simple words ;D. Just a little tip for the seats. If you spray some testors dull coat on them they will look more real and not so much like plastic. You should make a how to with you`r next model you do like this !

How i got the scale right is I went out and measured my father in laws 1996 Mercury Mistique ( same car just a ugly front end ) and used the scale calculator from www.1-87vehicles.org/scalecalc.php then build from there there are some places that i guessatmated b/c of the cars curves so i just eyeballed them.
